Dear Landowner:
The Livingston County Drain Commissioner, along with the Conway Township Board and affected residents are
considering a petition to request the maintenance and improvement of Sharp County Drain (See Attached Map).
If the project moves forward, it may qualify for potential American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to help defray
a portion of the special assessments associated with the project. If you are receiving this letter, your property is
located in the proposed special assessment district, or may have lands added, and may be subject to an assessment
for drainage benefits.
We have scheduled an informational meeting for May 11, 2023, at the location shown below. The purpose of
this meeting is give landowners an opportunity to find out more about options, why this project is being
considered, and what potential costs could be for the project. As a landowner within the proposed special
assessment district for the drain, you are invited to attend this meeting.
The Informational Meeting for the Sharp County Drain will be:
• Date/Time: Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
• Location: Conway Township Office, 8015 Fowlerville Road, Fowlerville, MI 48836
If you attend this meeting, you will have a chance to see the options, reasons and potential dollar impact regarding
the proposed drain improvements. The engineer retained to evaluate potential improvements will also make a
presentation.
